Hello!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet.  My name is Nathan, and I have set up this blog to charter and record my adventures in the world of numismatics.  Having been an avid collector for the past 20-something years, as well as studying coins in an archaeological context at university, I thought it might be time to share some of the passion I feel for the subject.

Each month I will post something new to the site, whether it be some new historical facts I have found out, ancient trade practices as well as modern, my experiences with the dealer community as well as anything which may capture attention/imagination.  I intend to acquire new items for my collection each month from a limited budget, and will often share the results on here.  Hopefully my readers will enjoy reading about my blunders, successes and musings during my travels in this money soaked world…
